Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 29 January 2024, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Mining and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan with representatives of the Japanese corporation JOGMEC.

The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Mining and Geology A. Kadirkhodjaev, heads of departments, head of the department of the JOGMEC corporation Kazuo Masuda, head of the department Yuu Kawakami, specialist of the corporation’s representative office in Moscow Mariko Boxes.

Measures were discussed within the framework of the agreement on cooperation to carry out geological exploration work at the Mesheti, Jasaga and Akberdi deposits, as well as prospects for cooperation in the field of technological and rare metals.
