Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation with President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Muhammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The Head of Uzbekistan sincerely congratulated the President of the Emirates on his birthday, expressing his best wishes for good health, success in activities and prosperity to the people of the Emirates. The leaders also exchanged warm congratulations on the occasion of the beginning of the month of Ramadan.

A high level of Uzbek-Emirati cooperation was noted, with mutual trade growing by 20% in 2023. More than 300 enterprises with the participation of Emirati capital are successfully operating in Uzbekistan, and the volume of the portfolio of joint projects has exceeded US$4 billion.

The parties emphasized their readiness to intensify interaction in various fields, such as high technology, energy, geology, agriculture, tourism, IT and infrastructure.

The importance of carefully preparing the agenda for upcoming summit meetings was emphasized.
