It is this issue that is given attention in the Law "On Plant Protection", discussed at the forty-fourth plenary session of the Senate.

The Law establishes the exercise of state control in the field of plant protection by the Plant Protection and Quarantine Agency as a specially authorized state body, as well as the rights and obligations of state plant quarantine inspectors.

It also envisages requirements for standardization, certification, labeling and production of chemicals and plant protection products.

In addition, the basic principles in the field of plant protection, such as legality, consistency and continuity, the priority of applying the biological method, openness and transparency, are fixed.

The requirements for compliance with the rules for the production, sale, use, transportation, disposal, transportation, storage of chemicals and plant protection products, as well as the neutralization and disposal of products that have fallen into disrepair and the use of which is prohibited, are being strengthened.

This Law also envisages the registration of chemicals and plant protection products. That is, the Law provides accounting and monitoring of mineral fertilizers and plant protection products.
