Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The electronic publication “Greater Asia” announced the holding of the International Folklore Festival “Spring of Baysun” from 1 to 7 May in Surkhandarya region of Uzbekistan, which will unite bearers, performers and masters of folklore and ethnographic art from all over the world.

The holiday program will include exhibitions of national dishes and handicrafts, performances by folk groups, balloon launches, national sports games and other events. The main part of them will be held in a modern tourist complex in the Bibishirin mahalla.

A cycling marathon along mountain roads is also planned in the area of the Khojamaikhan shrine. For those interested, excursion trips to the tourist attractions of the region will be organized - to the healing spring “Omonkhona”, to the Zovboshi recreation area, to the Kyzyl Canyon, archaeological sites and others.
