Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, on 2 November, in Gwangju (Republic of Korea), the international energy exhibition and conference "Bitgaram Interational Expo of Electric Power Technology / BIXPO-2022" began its work.

The event is hosted by Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO), a major Korean electric power company. Along with energy companies from more than 20 countries, the Delegation of the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan also takes part in the exhibition.

The exhibition is dedicated to the issues of achieving carbon neutrality and energy security, in particular, increasing the share of green energy in electricity generation, introducing the most modern energy-saving technologies, efficient and rational use of energy resources and preventing the emission of hazardous waste into the atmosphere.

Within the framework of the exhibition, today, a meeting of the delegation of the Ministry of Energy and the President of KEPCO is scheduled.
