Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Experts from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) visited Uzbekistan.
Following the results of the mission of the International Monetary Fund, final discussions took place at the Central Bank aimed at improving the practical skills of Central Bank auditors in risk-based internal audit.
At the meeting, it was noted that the efforts of the Central Bank to introduce a risk management system and risk-based internal audit, carried out within the framework of technical support from the IMF, are having a positive effect.
A plan of measures to develop a map of key business processes, identify and assess risks, as well as improve the audit universe, which includes audited objects, was also discussed.
At the meeting, it was noted that the recommendations of international experts are of particular value for the activities of the Central Bank, and that the parties are ready for further cooperation in the field of implementing a risk management system and risk-oriented internal audit.
