Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Due to the fact that buildings and structures located at Tashkent city, Buyuk Turon Street, 41 are currently empty and require repair, their privatization has been determined. This was reported by the State Assets Management Agency.

Taking into account that this building reflects the historical architecture of the city of Tashkent, as well as the appearance of an important monument of “modernism”, in order to preserve it, the following basic conditions of sale have been determined:

- preservation of the historical architectural appearance of the administrative building of the National Information Agency of Uzbekistan (UzA) and the 4-story administrative building at the intersection of Bukhara and Buyuk Turon streets (part from the side of the “A. Navoi Theater”);

- implementation of further construction, repair and reconstruction work in agreement with the Cultural Heritage Agency.

This means that the buyer ensures the preservation of the historical architectural appearance of these parts of the property complex, carries out repair work in agreement with the Cultural Heritage Agency, and if these conditions are violated by the buyer, the issue of privatization will be reconsidered in accordance with the requirements of the contract.

Based on the above, the State Assets Management Agency asks the public not to worry, and also informs that work on the privatization of the property complex will be carried out strictly in compliance with the above requirements, and the public will be informed about each stage of the privatization process.
