Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Another raid was carried out by employees of Bakhmal district devision of the Department of Ecology of Jizzakh region.

During the raid, the fact of drying out of 450 ornamental trees out of 1332 planted by the Bakhmal District Improvement Department on the territory of the Fidokor mahalla as part of the Yashil Makon national project was established. This fact violates the requirements of Articles 4, 24, 32 of the Law "On the Protection and Use of Flora".

According to the press service of the Ministry of Ecology, in this regard, in accordance with Article 79 part 3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a fine of 10 sizes of basic estimated value - 3 million 300 thousand soums was imposed on the head of the district improvement department.
