Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting with the khokim of the city of Chirchik, Tashkent region, Davron Khidoyatov.

During the meeting, issues of deepening cooperation within the framework of friendly relations between Russia and Uzbekistan, the development of industrial cooperation and the prospects for future joint projects were discussed, Tatarstan24 reports.

In 2022, in the city of Chirchik, under a joint project of the Tatarstan OJSC Khimgrad and its Uzbek partners, the opening of a chemical-industrial technology park of the same name took place.

As part of his visit to Tatarstan, D. Khidoyatov will visit the IT park named after Bashir Rameev, the Innopolis SEZ, the Khimgrad technopolis, the Alabuga SEZ and a number of enterprises in Tatarstan.

In April of this year, Rustam Minnikhanov met with the khokim of Tashkent region of Uzbekistan Zoir Mirzaev. At the Innoprom site, the parties discussed possible areas of cooperation.

As of the end of 2022, Tatarstan and Uzbekistan were implementing 16 investment projects in the joint chemical-industrial technology park Chirchik.
