Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The fourth meeting of the Council of Trade Unions of Central Asian countries was held in Shymkent, which was attended by the heads of national trade union centers of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Mongolia and Uzbekistan.

The following issues were considered at the meeting: on labor migration in Central Asian countries; on the approval of the Regulations on the Youth Council of the SPECA and the composition of the Youth Council; on the Concept of the Award Activity of the SPECA; on the approval of the Concept of the Development of International and Domestic Tourism in the countries of Central Asia.

The issue of the transition of the chairmanship of the Council from the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Tajikistan was also considered.

At the end of the meeting, an agreement was signed between the national trade union centers that are part of the Council of Trade Unions of Central Asian Countries on mutual understanding and cooperation in the field of labor migration regulation.

Within the framework of the meeting, a solemn awarding ceremony was held for the winners of the review-competition "The Best Collective Agreement of trade unions of Central Asian countries in 2023". The collective agreement of LLC "Termez River Port" was recognized as the best by the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan.
