Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan Airports purchased two vehicles for transporting drinking water to aircraft, as well as two sewage disposal vehicles from local manufacturer MCity.

Specialized transport is necessary to reduce the time of ground handling of aircraft and increase the efficiency of the air harbor. Also, in the coming days, two new ambulifts will arrive at the airport, designed to serve passengers with disabilities.

It is worth noting that Uzbekistan Airports is systematically working to update and modernize its special transport fleet. Over the past two years, special equipment worth about 626 billion soums has been purchased for Tashkent airport, including universal cleaning machines at the airfield complex, machines for aircraft de-icing, aircraft tugs, airfield baggage tractors, container loaders, etc. 

Uzbekistan Airports plans for 2024 include further equipping international airports with new types of special transport and aircraft ground handling facilities.
