Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Shurtan Oil and Gas Production Department is implementing a number of projects to increase hydrocarbon reserves and increase the capacity of installations.

Within the framework of these projects, for the connection of the Shurtan gas chemical complex and the Uzbekistan GTL plant, the laying of an additional gas pipeline from the Headquarters of the Shurtan oil and gas production department was completed, and a pipeline with a diameter of 1020 mm and a length of 33 km was laid.

The control part of the measuring unit is located on the territory of the Shurtan gas chemical complex, the connection of the main pipeline to the unit was carried out through a pipeline with a total length of 300 meters with a diameter of 530 mm.

Under the control of specialists from the Shurtan oil and gas production department of Uzbekneftegaz JSC and the Shurtan gas chemical complex, the first stream of purified and dried gas was delivered through a newly laid pipeline to the Uzbekistan GTL plant.

The purpose of the installation of this pipeline is to supply natural gas, processed, purified and rich in ethane at the Head Plant of the Shurtan Oil and Gas Production Department to the Shurtan Gas Chemical Complex, as well as to the GTL plant to operate at full capacity.
