The first International Forum in Bukhara on Ziyorat tourism ends

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At the first international forum on Ziyorat tourism, initiated by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, more than 120 domestic and foreign scholars, theologians, experts and specialists in the field of v tourism took part.

The purpose of the event was to expand international cooperation in the development of Ziyorat tourism and attract direct investment in this area, recognize Uzbekistan as one of the largest centers of pilgrim tourism in the world and introduce global standards Halal.

Deputy Prime Minister Aziz Abdukhakimov at the opening ceremony of the forum said that Uzbekistan hopes that familiarizing the world with such a phenomenon in Bukhara as Ziyorat tourism will serve as an even greater impetus for the development of this sphere of tourism in our country.

Aziz Abdukhakimov: "We have already prepared comfortable conditions for Muslims to stay here, who want to make a pilgrimage. Of these, Halal world standards, introduced in the country, public places for bathing and prayer rooms."

During the Forum, the State Committee for Development of Tourism of Uzbekistan, together with the Association "Hunarmand" of Uzbekistan, organized a mini-exhibition in the areas of calligraphy, miniature, pottery and woodcarving and others.

In the format of "round tables", discussions and business negotiations, the heads of foreign travel companies, clergy and specialized organizations, scientific and academic centers shared their experience, established contacts, identifying areas for cooperation in tourism with representatives of the public and private sectors of our country.

Within the framework of the forum, an excursion to the places of pilgrimage of Bukhara was organized, which was completed a day later by visiting the sights of Samarkand.

At the end of the Forum, the signing ceremony of the Bukhara Declaration, recognizing Uzbekistan as one of the international centers of Ziyorat tourism.

The memorandums of cooperation were concluded between the National PR Center of the State of Development of Tourism of Uzbekistan and the Association of MATTA (Malaysia), Crescent Rating (Singapore) as part of the Global Muslim Traveler Index, the Jakarta Promotion Foundation (Indonesia), Abdulhadi al-KASABI.
