Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 18 June, the first concert within the framework of the project OPEN AIR.Sahro simfoniyasi was successfully held in the city of Nukus. The general sponsor of the event is SOTHIS AEGIS, and the main partner is the mountain resort Amirsoy.

The project was supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the State Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the State Philharmonic of Uzbekistan, the Nukus city administration, and a number of government departments.

On the first day of the stay of the participants of the concert tour in Nukus, the musicians of the National Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan, led by conductor Alibek Kabdurakhmanov, held a master class at the State Academic Musical Theater named after Berdakh for musicians of the Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.

The concert was held in the square of the front of the State Museum of Art. I.V. Savitsky. The number of viewers was over 6000 people. The public was awaited by an enchanting light-music show. The program of the concert included both classical works, melodies from movies and original arrangements of dance compositions. A special surprise for residents and guests of the city was the performance of the famous Karakalpak songs, which became the national epic “Aydinlar” and “Bozatau”.

By a lucky chance, a ten thousand foreign guest of the Republic of Karakalpakstan attended the concert. It turned out to be a tourist who came from the UK Marek Filipiak. He was presented with memorable gifts from the main partner of the project - the mountain resort "Amirsoi" and a certificate from the Hokimiyat of the city of Nukus.

The next destination of the musical caravan will be the fabulous Khiva. Already on 20 June, another musical action will unfold on the square in front of the architectural ensemble “Ichan Kala” as part of the project “OPEN AIR.Sahro simfoniyasi”.
