Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 28 January, the ceremony of presenting the National Prize of Culture and Art "New Stars of Uzbekistan" will be held in Tashkent. The award is given to talented creators who have made a significant and fruitful contribution to improving the culture and art of our country, increasing its international prestige.

It should be noted that this awards ceremony is traditionally held once a year among the creators.

Representatives of theatrical, circus, variety, traditional, academic, folklore, composer, dance, as well as fine and applied arts, artistic creativity and other areas of culture and art take part in the competition.

The selection of candidates for the award is organized on the basis of 20 relevant nominations.

Awarded creators are rewarded with a cash prize of 100 times BHM (Basic Settlement Amount) and receive a special award figurine as well as a certificate.
