Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An “Evening of Friendship” was held at the Kokhi Borbad Palace of Arts in Dushanbe with the participation of art masters from Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon watched the concert together.

Holding joint concerts of artists from the two countries has become a good tradition, embodying the eternal and sincere Uzbek-Tajik friendship. After all, to be closer to each other, to live in peace and harmony is the age-old cherished dream and sincere desire of our peoples. These dreams and aspirations are becoming a reality today; thanks to the will and efforts of the leaders of the two countries, our peoples have become even closer, and interstate relations have reached the level of alliance.

The concert program was another confirmation of these features. The songs and music performed by talented artists embodied the richness, diversity and at the same time the commonality of the cultures of our peoples.
