Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 19 February, a library opened in the Davlatabad district of the city of Namangan. Under the library, the Digital Library began its work.

It should be especially noted that an important contribution to the creation of the "Digital Library" was made by the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan, IT Park, as well as specialists from enterprises and organizations operating in the ICT industry.

The Digital Technologies Training Center was also organized here. This training center has become the thirteenth in a row, opened in the region.

The working group of the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications headed by the Minister of ICT Shukhrat Sadikov got acquainted with the conditions created here.

Students of the IT center created here have access not only to specialized literature, but can also familiarize themselves with the best artistic creations of world literature, since all IT centers in the republic are connected to this “Digital Library”. If the book fund of the library is 30 thousand books, then through the "Digital Library" book lovers get access to about 10 million electronic copies.

The opening of this library, as well as the organization of the IT center, became a wonderful gift for the Namangan youth in the Year of Supporting Youth and Strengthening the Health of the Population.
