Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Turkey has completed search and rescue operations in the earthquake zone, with the exception of the provinces of Kahramonmarash and Hatay, Dunyo news agency reported.
According to the Anadolu news agency, on the evening of 19 February, the death toll from the devastating earthquake in Turkey reached 41,020 people.
According to the Disaster and Emergency Management Agency (AFAD), there are currently 19,436 local and international search and rescue specialists working in the field.
Since 10 February, a military field hospital of the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan has been operating in the Turkish province of Hatay, most affected by the earthquake, where military doctors treat and cooks feed all those in need of help.
