Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 22 February, extended online negotiations were held between the Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Laziza Kudratov and the Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Arman Shakkaliev.

During the negotiations, in which heads of ministries and departments participated, the implementation of agreements reached at the highest level was discussed in detail. Particular attention was paid to the implementation of investment agreements, trade contracts, as well as other pressing issues of bilateral cooperation.

Specific measures were developed for the implementation of joint projects in the chemical, electrical, automotive and agricultural industries. Mechanisms for joint resolution of current issues were also developed.

As a result of the negotiations, the responsible heads of ministries and departments were issued relevant instructions, deadlines were set, and the practice of holding similar working meetings was agreed upon to quickly respond to emerging issues in the process of accelerated implementation of joint initiatives.
