Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A conference entitled “Uzbekistan - a new outsourcing hub” was held in London (UK).

The main goal of the event was to broadly present the potential of the IT outsourcing market of Uzbekistan on the world stage and deepen effective interaction between the IT sector of Uzbekistan and the UK.

The event was attended by about 100 executives from British IT and BPO companies, as well as leading experts in the field of outsourcing.

As part of the conference, a panel discussion was held in which the advantages of cooperation between the UK IT industry and IT Park Uzbekistan were discussed. Representatives of such companies as Global Tech Advocatus, Global Sourcing Association, Stephen Salewon, as well as Realsoft, a resident of the IT park, took part in the discussion.

The final part of the program included a presentation of the IT Park, within which the “All in One”, “Zero Risk” and “Local2Global” programs for export-oriented companies were presented. An event called “Offshore Outsourcing Tour” was also announced for next year.

After the official part of the conference, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the London Metropolitan University and the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khorezmi, as well as between the Freelancers Club and the IT Education Association.

The conference “Uzbekistan - a new direction of outsourcing” was also held in the USA, Singapore, Turkey, Korea and Ireland.
