Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Committee for Competition Development and Consumer Rights Protection of Uzbekistan is addressing consumer complaints regarding inflated electricity meter readings or improper functioning within the social norms framework.

The committee has announced the formation of a working group, which includes representatives from "UzEnergoInspection", the Agency for Technical Regulation, and "Tashkent City Power Grids".

This working group will conduct on-site investigations of consumer complaints and take necessary actions.

The committee also emphasized that legal measures are being taken to rectify identified deficiencies.
