Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Representatives of the anti-terrorism structures of the CIS and SCO, as well as Uzbekistan’s security services, met in Moscow to discuss preparations for the planned first stage of the "East Antiterror - 2024" exercises to be held in Uzbekistan. This was reported by the press service of the Executive Committee of the CIS.

Earlier, the press bureau of the CIS Antiterrorism Center reported that the operational phase of the "East Antiterror - 2024" exercises will be held in Uzbekistan for the first time.

According to the press service, during the meeting, issues related to the preparation for the practical training session for the first stage of the East Antiterror - 2024 exercises were discussed.

The press service also added that "the parties also discussed the joint holding of the SCO RATS and CIS conferences in 2024."
