Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting was held between the Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan Dilshod Rasulov and the trade representative of the Russian Federation in Uzbekistan Konstantin Zligostev.

During the meeting, prospects for the development of bilateral trade, economic, investment and interregional relations were discussed. In particular, the need to hold the international industrial exhibition "Innoprom" at a high level and create an effective environment for entrepreneurs on both sides was emphasized.

An agreement was also reached to establish close cooperation within the framework of the activities of technology parks and free economic zones in Jizzakh region and the city of Chirchik.

A proposal was put forward to open a Chamber trading house in Ivanovo (Russia) with the aim of expanding and strengthening business and economic ties with Russia, as well as opening up new business opportunities for entrepreneurs.

As a result of the meeting, cooperation measures were agreed upon to be implemented by the parties during 2024.
