Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers “On measures to organize the competition “The Most Exemplary Youth Leader of the Mahalla of the Year” was adopted.

The document approved the Regulations on the organization of the competition. According to it, the competition is held annually in 10 areas. Youth leaders who have experience in practical work and have been active in one mahalla for at least six months can take part in it.

Every year, until 5 September, an announcement about the competition is posted on the official website and social media pages of the Agency for Youth Affairs. Registration will take place from 5 to 30 September.

The stages of the competition are held:

district (city) – in October;

regional qualifying – in November;

Republican final - in the first ten days of December.

The winners of the republican stage receive the following benefits:

inclusion in the personnel reserve for appointment to a higher position;

referral to study at educational organizations in developed foreign countries.

In addition, it is recommended to award them with the “Mahalla Iftikhori” sign.

The document also approved:

composition of the Organizing Committee of the competition;

typical composition of district commissions for organizing the competition at the district (city) stages.
