The badge "Khalq salomatligi posboni" was established

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- By Government resolution, the badge “Khalq salomatligi posboni” (Guard of the population health) was established.

According to the resolution, the badge is awarded to:

- representatives of all levels of departments and organizations, as well as members of the public who have made a worthy contribution to the transformation of a healthy lifestyle into a national movement in our country;

- individuals and sports coaches who make physical activity a daily habit and set a special example in promoting it in their community and population;

- citizens who have achieved positive results in the prevention, eradication of bad habits, the fight against them and have shown activity in the effective organization of public control;

- persons who have created sufficient conditions for establishing a healthy diet for the population;

- specialists who have achieved success in disease prevention by ensuring the sanitary and epidemiological calm of the territory, cleanliness and hygiene of the environment, the formation and consolidation of sanitary and hygienic skills among the population;

- Representatives of the media, who have prepared relevant materials calling for the elimination of risk factors and positive lifestyle changes in order to prevent chronic diseases;

- medical workers and other specialists who have made a worthy contribution to the development of preventive medicine and the training of qualified personnel in this direction.

The badge can also be awarded to persons who are not citizens of Uzbekistan.

The badge is solemnly awarded annually on the eve of the second Sunday of November - Medical Worker's Day.

The awarded badge is paid a one-time cash reward in the amount of 4 sizes of basic estimated value (now – 1.32 million soums).
