The average monthly nominal accrued wages in January - June 2022 in Uzbekistan hit 3.54 million soums

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The average monthly nominal accrued wages in January-June 2022 in Uzbekistan made up 3.54 million soums (in January-June 2021, respectively, 2.96 million soums). The growth rate to the same the period of 2021 amounted to 19.3%, the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said.

From 1 June 2022, the minimum wage has been changed and increased to 920,000 soums.

When forming the indicator of the average monthly wage for January-June 2022, agricultural and small businesses were not taken into account, since farms and small businesses must submit reports once a year.

In January-June 2022, the highest average monthly salary by type of economic activity fell on banking, insurance, leasing and credit intermediary activities, the growth rate, compared to the corresponding period of last year, amounted to 24.8%.

There was also an increase in information and communication (+30.2%), transportation and storage (+26.1%), trade (+20.1%), industry (+19.8%), healthcare and social services (+15.5%).%), education (+14.5%) and construction (+13.0%).

In the field of transportation and storage, the highest average monthly wage was in Khorezm region (6.41 million soums), Tashkent city (5.44 million soums), Bukhara region (5 million soums) and the Republic of Karakalpakstan (4.04 million soums). Also, high growth rates were noted in Syrdarya (twice), Jizzakh (+79.1%), Khorezm (+62.1%) and Tashkent (+55.3%) regions.

In the field of information and communications, the highest level of average monthly wages was noted in computer programming, consultations and other related services (11.23 million soums), the lowest indicator was in the field of publishing (6.11 million soums).

In the field of information and communications, a high level of average monthly wages was observed in the city of Tashkent (8.04 million soums), Samarkand (4.53 million soums), Jizzakh (4.29 million soums), Tashkent (4.04 million soums) regions. Along with this, high growth rates have developed in Tashkent (+58.0%), Samarkand (+45.6%), Bukhara (+40.3%), Ferghana (+35.9%) regions.

In the banking, insurance, leasing and credit-intermediary sectors, the highest level of average monthly wages was noted in ancillary activities for the provision of financial services and insurance (10.08 millionm soums), its lowest level was in the field of insurance, reinsurance and activities of pension funds, except for compulsory social insurance (9.1 million soums).

The average monthly salary in banking, insurance, leasing and credit-intermediary activities and credit-intermediary activities, the highest level of the average monthly salary was formed in the city of Tashkent (11.76 million soums), Andijan (8.96 million soums), Bukhara (8.36 million soums), Navoi (8 million soums) and Jizzakh (7.93 million soums) regions. At the same time, high growth rates were noted in Surkhandarya (+42.3%), Andijan (+38.1%) and Bukhara (+32.5%) regions.

In the field of education, the highest average monthly salary was in the field of higher education (5.67 million soums), and the lowest in preschool education (1.44 million soums).
