Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The resolution of the President “On approval of the Target Program for the Strategic Development of the Chemical and Gas Chemical Industry” was adopted.

The resolution set the task of producing new types of chemical and gas chemical products through deep processing of local mineral raw materials, attracting domestic and foreign direct investment in the industry.

In order to organize the activities of chemical and technological research and production clusters, the following technological clusters are created:

- Navoi Chemical Technopark;

- "Fergana Chemical Technopark";

- Karakalpakstan Chemical Technopark.

By 1 April 2023, together with the International Finance Corporation, with the involvement of foreign consultants, work will be carried out on a technical comprehensive study at Navoiyazot JSC, and by 1 August 2023, a study of the state of the primary market will be completed.

By 1 September 2023, based on the results of a technical comprehensive study conducted at Navoiyazot JSC and a study of the state of the primary market, a strategy for the development of the company will be developed.

By 30 June 2023, the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the khokimiyat of the Navoi region will ensure the development of new lands with an area equal to the area of irrigated land plots, the category of which is subject to change in accordance with this resolution.
