Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Today, the 44th General Assembly of the Association of Road Transport Carriers of the Member States of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC URTA) was held in Tashkent.

The event was attended by BSEC URTA President Eduard Casa, Secretary General of the organization Mehmet Uylukcu, President of the International Road Transport Union (IRU) Radu Dinescu, IRU Secretary General Umberto de Pretto, Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council Mirvohid Azimov, First Deputy Minister of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan Mamanbiy Omarov, Chairman of the International Association of Road Transport Carriers of Uzbekistan (AIRCUZ) Sanjar Pulatov, and representatives of the member states of the organization.

During the session, the participants of the General Assembly discussed important issues related to the development of road transport in the region, the harmonization and simplification of border crossing procedures, and close cooperation with international organizations and stakeholders.

The assembly also reviewed the work plans of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization (BSEC) for 2025 and made decisions based on the outcomes of the 44th General Assembly of BSEC-URTA.
