The delegation included representatives of the Thailand state oil company PTTEP led by its president and CEO Annon Srisaengtaksin.

During the meeting, the sides presented information on activity of oil and gas sector of Thailand and Uzbekistan, main projects in hydrocarbons mining and processing, Uzbekneftegaz said.

The sides exchanged opinion on cooperation areas. In particular, the sides discussed created opportunities for foreign investors in oil and gas exploration, creation of joint ventures in Navoi free industrial and economic zone, modernization and technological re-equipment, exchange of experience in raw material processing.

The meeting was familiarization event for both sides and they confirmed intend for continuation of contacts.
