Tests of New Turkish ISUZU CITIPORT CNG Bus Begin in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A modern ISUZU CITIPORT CNG bus, manufactured in Türkiye, has begun trial operations in Tashkent.

According to the press service of Toshshahartanskhizmat JSC, the vehicle was delivered as part of cooperation with the Turkish company Anadolu Isuzu. In the coming days, the bus will temporarily operate on Route 77, where it will undergo test runs.

The new model features increased passenger capacity and runs on compressed natural gas, reducing harmful emissions and making it more environmentally friendly compared to traditional buses. During the trials, specialists plan to study the bus’s technical performance, fuel efficiency, and passenger convenience.

The gradual introduction of modern buses into the capital’s public transport system is part of a broader program to renew the fleet and improve passenger service quality, with the ISUZU CITIPORT CNG seen as a step forward in this effort.
