Uzbekistan 24/12/2007 Terue Okada: "Participation of observers provides transparency for elections"
I observed the voting process in voting districts number 288, 284, 297 of Tashkent city. In all them I saw well preparedness to this political event. Acts for presidential elections of Republic of Uzbekistan, books, newspapers and magazines, the different information on candidates is available almost in all public places – in markets, public transportation, institutions of education and public health.

Consecutive coverage in almost in all media outlets of your country; in Internet sites, and close observation over the process of voting of thousands of observers, in particular, representatives of OSCE, SCO, CIS and many other international organizations, foreign journalists provides openness, transparency of presidential elections of Uzbekistan.

Representatives of the elections commissions give detailed answers to all questions of voters, observers and journalists. With free, will voters show activeness in voting process. In Uzbekistan the institute of makhalla is well developed. It has great value in preparing the lists of voters. Also the transparent urns intended for voting enable observing the course of voting. Similar conditions can be observed not in all developed countries.

In each state democracy is formed taking into account the interests of people, its customs and traditions and national origin. People of the East, in particular, both Japanese, and Uzbeks solve problems reservedly, keeping mutual respect. Such wisdom, mutual respect, foresight is brightly illuminated on presidential elections.
