Termez to host intl Kurash tournaments

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Tenth International Kurash Tournament for the prize of the President of Uzbekistan dedicated to the memory of Al Hakim at-Termezi and the Eighth Kurash World Championship will be held in Termez, Surkhandarya region of Uzbekistan on 19-23 October 2011.

Currently, preparation works are underway at the Surkhon Complex. All necessary conditions are created for participants.

Before the launch of the tournaments, international conferences titled “Life and heritage of Al Hakim at-Termezi” and “History, development, and perspectives of Uzbek Kurash will take place in Termez.
