Tenth plenary session of Senate begins in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Tenth plenary session of Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan will start its work in Tashkent on 5 December 2012.

At the upcoming plenary session, it is expected that Senate will consider 20 issues, including 8 laws.

The Senate will consider State Budget of Uzbekistan for 2013 and a programme on creating jobs and ensuring employment for 2013.

Senators will consider laws, which are directed at gradual reforming and liberalizing all spheres of political and social-economic life, improving public administration, etc.

In particular, upper house of parliament will consider “On permission procedures in entrepreneurship activity”, law “On normative-legal acts” in new edition, law “On private banking and financial institutions and guarantees of their activities”, and law “On operative search activity”.

Senate will also consider law “On introduction of changes and amendments to laws “On elections to Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan” and “On elections to regional, district and city Council of People’s Deputies” in connection with further ensuring freedom of selection and development of election legislation” and several other documents, which are directed at further developing business activities, reforming judicial-legal system, etc.

Senators will also consider several other issues of the jurisdiction of the Senate.
