Ten new production facilities are planned to be launched in the Chirchik technology park

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ten new production facilities will be launched by the end of the year in the Chirchik technology park in Uzbekistan, which was created in collaboration with the Tatarstan technopolis Khimgrad. Now five companies have started production activities in Chirchik, Khimgrad General Director Ayrat Gizzatullin told TASS.

“Currently, five companies have already started production activities, and we will launch another 10 production facilities by the end of this year. In total, we are now working on 34 projects with an investment volume of US$255 million, some of which are already underway with design, construction and installation work,” Gizzatullin said.

The chemical-industrial technopark "Chirchik" was created in collaboration with the Kazan technopolis "Khimgrad", it is intended for localizing the production of foreign and local companies. The technology park has a developed engineering infrastructure with connection points to energy supply networks within walking distance from any plot of land and building. All conditions have been created here for uninterrupted power supply to residents.

In the spring of 2023, the Jizzakh technology park was opened in Uzbekistan; this project is also being implemented jointly with specialists from the Khimgrad industrial park.
