Teachers in Uzbekistan to be able to use preferential mobile communications from UMS

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Mobile operator UMS and the Ministry of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan signed an agreement on cooperation in providing mobile communication services to employees of the public education system.

Deputy Minister of Public Education Sarvar Babakhodjayev and Commercial Director of UMS Lola Filatova signed the corresponding document on 3 July 2019.

The purpose of the Agreement is to create favorable conditions for public education workers in the implementation of their professional activities, improving access to modern educational technologies, uninterrupted access to high-quality mobile communications and the global Internet. For this, UMS has developed two preferential tariff plans “O‘qituvchi”.

- The mobile operator UMS constantly acquires new business partners and friends, this time in the person of the Ministry of Public Education. We have many points of convergence of interests, and one of them is the desire to create even more amenities for the employees of the Ministry of Public Education system. With such a positive message, these preferential tariff plans have been developed. We hope that representatives of the public education sphere will appreciate our products,” Lola Filatova, Commercial Director of UMS, said.

Connection to the tariff plans “O‘qituvchi” is voluntary and will begin in the coming days. To do this, the subscriber must provide the original passport and a document confirming that he is an employee of the public education system (certificate or extract from the order).

- The leadership of Uzbekistan pays great attention to improving the status of teachers in society. In turn, the Ministry of Public Education welcomes the participation of business in supporting teachers. Together we can show that in society they value teachers and we are all ready to make their lives better and easier,” Deputy Minister of Public Education Sarvar Babakhodjayev said.

The cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Public Education and the operator of UMS will serve the interests of numerous teaching staff in Uzbekistan. Teachers and mentors engaged in noble work to educate the younger generation will receive high-quality mobile communications at preferential prices and conditions, and will be able to maximize its opportunities in their activities.
