TBC Uzbekistan launches Payme Plus subscription

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — TBC Uzbekistan has introduced Payme Plus, a monthly subscription service offering access to a package of financial and lifestyle services with added value.

Payme Plus brings a new dimension to the customer experience at TBC by providing a convenient solution for users to seamlessly manage both banking and everyday needs, the bank stated.

The subscription offers access to advanced financial management tools, such as automated expense analysis and interest-free money transfers. Additionally, subscribers can take advantage of a wide range of lifestyle services and entertainment options at special rates.

The new service will be available through Payme, one of Uzbekistan’s leading payment system providers. Payme is an integral part of TBC Uzbekistan’s digital banking ecosystem, which serves 17 million unique registered users and includes TBC Bank Uzbekistan (TBC UZ), a digital bank, as well as the rapidly growing Payme Nasiya installment payment service.

This initiative is set to become a key component of TBC Uzbekistan’s strategy to expand its portfolio of digital products, accelerate the launch of new solutions to market, and scale its presence in Uzbekistan. Payme Plus will enable TBC Uzbekistan to deepen customer engagement, increase the number of users actively utilizing multiple products, and enhance both customer loyalty and the average revenue per user (ARPU).

Nika Kurdiani, CEO of TBC Uzbekistan, commented: “Payme Plus is more than just a fintech service—it’s a comprehensive solution that integrates finances into daily life, significantly enhancing the TBC customer experience and setting a new market standard.

The high demand during the trial period demonstrates that this unique package can drive revenue growth, boost customer engagement, and strengthen TBC’s position as the leading digital banking ecosystem in the region.”

The launch of Payme Plus coincides with a series of other innovative products aimed at increasing customer engagement, enhancing loyalty, and creating new revenue streams. These include the Salom Card debit card, the Osmon Card credit product with a revolving limit, and TBC Business—the first fully digital banking service in Uzbekistan for small and medium enterprises and individual entrepreneurs.

In 2024, TBC Uzbekistan also leveraged artificial intelligence, successfully implementing AI agents to remind customers about payments. Furthermore, the digital bank raised $75 million in new capital—a record for the year—bolstering the ecosystem’s ability to scale rapidly and deliver cutting-edge banking solutions to an even larger audience.
