President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov signed an order “On organizational measures on holding international conference “On role and importance of small businesses and private entrepreneurship in implementation of social-economic policy in Uzbekistan” in Tashkent”.

International conference will be held on 12-14 September 2012. The main task of the event is to study foreign experience in development of small businesses and private entrepreneurship, as well as inform international community on achievements of Uzbekistan in this direction.

It is expected that representatives of the UN, International Financial Corporation, Islamic Development Bank, and businesses from foreign states will attend the event.

The conference will discuss issues of developing and forming small and private businesses, legal guarantees of entrepreneurship activity, protection of their rights, and development of small private sector.

Within the international conference, the participants will visit small businesses and private entrepreneurship, professional college, historic sights of Tashkent, Samarkand and Bukhara.
