Tashkent to host exhibition “Silk road in the view of painters of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan”
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- National Institute of Art and Design named of Kamoliddin Bekhzod of Uzbekistan Art Academy will host an opening ceremony of exhibition “Silk road in the view of painters of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan” in Tashkent on 26 November 2014.

The exhibition was organized by initiative of Azerbaijan Cultural Center named after Geydar Aliev under the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Uzbekistan at assistance of National Institute of Art and Design named of Kamoliddin Bekhzod and Azerbaijan state art gallery.

The event is aimed at expanding cultural cooperation between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan and promoting common values of people, and showcasing role historic Silk Road in life of people of two states.

The works of Sattar Bahlulzade, Maral Rakhmanzade, Togrul Narimanbekov, Artegin Salamzade, Elbek Rzakuliev, Gusein Hagverdiev (all from Azerbaijan) and Akmal Nuriddinov, Sobir Rakhmatov, Javlon Umarbekov, Bakhodir Jalalov (all from Uzbekistan) and other painters.

At the opening ceremony, it is planned to demonstrate documentary film on Silk Road.
