Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As previously reported, the first gas turbine was delivered and installed at the Tashkent Thermal Power Plant as part of an investment project, the press service of the Ministry of Energy reported.

Recently, the Japanese company Mitsubishi delivered the second gas turbine unit to the construction site. Currently, installation work is underway to install a gas turbine.

It is noteworthy that in order to meet the needs of the population of Tashkent in thermal and electrical energy, construction work is planned to be completed in the first quarter of 2024.
