Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A new modern technical university, TASHKENT TECH, will be established in the capital of Uzbekistan. The project is initiated by the President's Assistant, Saida Mirziyoyeva. The organizational committee meeting for the establishment of the university took place yesterday.

The new university will be developed based on the Tashkent State Technical University, as part of the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and will become an important element of the ongoing reform in the higher education system. Its primary goal is to train a new generation of engineers and enhance the appeal of technical specialties among young people.

The concept for TASHKENT TECH is being developed in collaboration with the international consulting company Boston Consulting Group. This partnership will help integrate advanced international standards, innovative teaching methods, and effective management models into the educational process.

"Our strategic goal is to create a technical university of a new format that meets global standards. I am confident that TASHKENT TECH will not just be a university but a driving force for Uzbekistan's technological sovereignty and sustainable industrial growth," emphasized Saida Mirziyoyeva.

TASHKENT TECH is expected to become a flagship institution for training highly qualified technical personnel, a platform for the implementation of modern technologies and innovations, and an essential element in building the country's engineering potential.
