In semifinal, Tashkent city team will face team of the Dutch city of Hoogeveen and the Uzbek team had good chance to qualify to finals. The tournament is held in the UAE for the first time.

In the quarterfinals, Tashkent city team clinched a 3-1 victory over Athens. Marat Jumaev and Saidali Yuldashev won their matches, while Andrei Kwon and Aleksey Barsov played a draw.

In last 16, Tashkent team defeated Astana with the score 2.5 – 1.5. Barsov and Yuldashev defeated their opponents, while Jumaev played a draw. Kwon lost his match.
