Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Tashkent metro received two modern metro trains with four cars. The press service of the State Unitary Enterprise “Tashkent Metro” announced this.

New trains arrived in Tashkent today, the company noted.

According to the company, the new trains will undergo technical tests in accordance with established instructions. They will then be sent to lines to serve passengers in order to further reduce intervals on the metro.

Tashkent Metro noted that it is planned to introduce three more metro trains in May 2024.

These plans are aimed at updating the metro’s car fleet and further reducing fixed time intervals.
