Tashkent International Tourism Fair, has been organized since 1995, is one of the largest events in Central Asia. The event is aimed at professionals of the Uzbek and foreign tourism market.

This year, the fair will occupy two halls of UzExpoCenter. It is expected that leading national and regional tourism offices to participate the fair, UzA reported.

Currently, representatives of Azerbaijan, Germany, Greece, India, Kazakhstan, China, Cyprus, UAE, Russia, Thailand, Turkey, Switzerland and others confirmed their participation. Jordan will make its debut this year.

Uzbekistan will present national exposition “Tourism of Uzbekistan”, which present development of tourism market development in Uzbekistan. The exposition will have such topical sections as “Uzbekistan – tourism country”, “Transport services”, “Restaurants of Uzbekistan”, etc. The exposition will demonstrate brands of each regions of Uzbekistan.

Within the exhibition, the 5th International Meeting on the Silk Road will be held in Samarkand on 8-9 October 2010.
