Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 16 July 2024, Tashkent hosted political consultations between the Foreign Ministries of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Cyprus, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.
The President of Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Deputy Head of the Cyprus Investment Promotion Agency, and representatives of the Ministry of Tourism also participated at the negotiations as part of the Cyprus delegation.
The parties conducted an extensive review of bilateral relations and interaction within the framework of multilateral structures, reviewed the implementations of previously reached agreements.
Special attention was paid to the prospects of using the existing potential of cooperation, primarily in the trade, economic, investment and tourism fields.
The sides also considered the proposals for deepening cultural and humanitarian ties.
