Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 26 June, the International Hotel Tashkent hosted a presentation of the Association of Hoteliers of Uzbekistan for hoteliers of the city of Tashkent with the participation of the founders headed by the Chairman of the Board of the Association of Hoteliers Farangiz Abdulayeva.

The event was a kind of starting point in the organization’s activities. The Association was founded on 2 April. For three incomplete months, considerable work has already been done to improve the provision of hotel services in the country: these are negotiations with foreign experts who can advise on improving the service, as well as business meetings with representatives of the State Committee on Improvement of the Legislative Base with regard to fees, stars, and taxation of funds accommodation.

“All reforms in the sphere of tourism relate to tourism in general, but there is no such dedicated structure for the hotel industry,” Farangiz Abdulleva said.

“After all, the hotel business is the vulnerable part of this industry. It doesn’t improve everything in a short period, we need to gradually build it up, hard work that will eventually bring its fruits, and we will reap them together,” Farangiz Abdulleva noted.
