The event was organized by the State Property Committee of Uzbekistan and Association of Valuation Organization. It was attended by valuators, experts, heads of valuation organizations, etc.

Participants discussed main directions of activities of the State Property Committee of Uzbekistan, including privatization and valuation activities. They also considered new programme of privatization of state assets for 2012-2013, which envisages privatization of assets in oil and gas, energy, metallurgy, light industry, and other industries. It is also planned to realize 63 unused enterprises on zero-redemption price under investment obligations.

The presidential resolution is aimed at further deepening structural reforms in economy, increasing role of private sector, as well as attracting foreign investments to modernization of production capacities based on expanding production of high quality, competitive and import-replacing products, as well as providing jobs to population to raise their income.

At the event, the presentations of the State Property Committee of Uzbekistan and Association of Valuation Organization were held. In particular, the presentations covered such as issues as property valuation, payment of valuation services, etc.
