The event was organized by State Committee on Demonopolization and the Association of judicial managers of Uzbekistan.

Representatives of Supreme Economic Court, Prosecutor-General Office, State Tax Committee and Center for improving antimonopoly policy, valuation companies, auditors and judicial managers participated at the event.

It was noted that the activities of the State Committee on Demonopolization and the Association of judicial managers of Uzbekistan were directed at adopting effective measures on rehabilitation of solvency of the enterprises and liquidation of hopeless companies.

At the seminar, the sides discussed measures directed at avoiding mistakes by judicial managers in implementing decisions of courts on bankruptcy and issues related to payment of taxes. The participants considered issues related with repayment of loans and other payments by insolvent companies.

It was noted that liquidation process was carried out at 193 enterprises in 2011, of which 42 were realized to private investors, 8 were handed over to commercial banks, 43 enterprises improved their payment capacity and 36 were handed over to balance of local administrations.
