The show was organized by the Embassy of Korea Republic in Uzbekistan within the Korea Festival 2016.

Fashion show of traditional Korean cloth Hanbok was held for the first time in Uzbekistan. At the same time, the show presented works of famous Korean designer Lee Young Hee.

Lee Young Hee earned recognition for her ability to successfully and harmoniously combine tradition and modernity, the beauty and charm of the East and West in hanbok. She created special hanboks for wife of the Korean Presidents. Lee Yong Hee arrived in Uzbekistan to participate in the fashion show.

In the first part of the show, hanboks of Choson period, which were worn by royal family members in weddings, were presented. Modern hanboks, presented in various fashion shows worldwide, were presented in the second half of the show.

Professional models from Korea and Uzbekistan, as well as Goodwill Ambassadors of two states, actress Rano Shodieva and singer DJ Piligrim presented the hanboks.
