Representatives of over 50 leading foreign investors, representatives of diplomatic missions, ministries and departments, as well as commercial bank attend the event.

It was noted that over 4,500 enterprises with foreign investments are successfully operating in Uzbekistan.

At the event, the participants discussed issues of legal protection of enterprises with foreign capital, role of banking system in their financial support, as well as further improving legal base.

The participants discussed conditions created for investors at free industrial and economic zone Navoi, special industrial zones Jizzakh and Angren, as well as preferences provided to them at these zone.

At the forum, it was underlined that the Uzbek banks issued investment loans for 6.7 trillion soums in nine months of 2014, which rose 1.2 times year-on-year.

The works are conducted to stimulate production of consumer goods, develop industrial potential in the regions.

It was said that annually Uzbekistan attracts foreign direct investments for US$3 billion. Each year, the volume of used investments grow by 9-9.5%.

At the forum, the presentation of goods, produced due to loans of the banks, as well as awarding ceremony of the winners of the contest for the best business project were held.
