The event is dedicated to the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and China. It was organized by Uzbekistan Art Academy and the Shanghai People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (SPAFFC), as well as Council of Friendship and Cultural-Educational relations of Uzbekistan with foreign states.

The exhibition, which should directed at friendly relations between Uzbek and Chinese nations, demonstrates almost 120 photos about Shanhgai, UzA reported.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China Zhang Xiao said that the exhibition is aimed at familiarizing people of Uzbekistan with culture of China through photos. He said that such events strengthen relations between two countries.

Shanghai is one of the largest cities of China and one of the most industrially and economically developed countries. From 1994, it is twin city of Tashkent.
